France Bordeaux
Grape variety: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc
Second label of Medoc rating second grade Chateau Lauzan-Segura. Château Rauzan Ségla uses grapes from the same section as Grand Vin, except for some young tree sections (which will become Grand Vin as they age), so that they can be imagined as Grand Vin. And it is made through the same process as Grand Vin, such as the aging period. However, the ratio of new barrels and the final grape variety ratio are different, but this is because the use of new barrels is determined to some extent for each section, and the best ratio is prioritized during the assemblage before bottling. There is no big difference in the variety composition between Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, which are the basic varieties, and the concentrated feeling of Château Rauzan Ségla and the elegant and delicate taste can be said to be common characteristics with Lamoureux.
deep purple. Aromas of cassis, prunes and licorice intermingled with mushrooms, leather, vanilla, cedar and spices. Soft, smooth tannins and pleasant acidity. Full body with a solid skeleton. Red wine with a delicate and elegant taste typical of Margaux village.
It goes well with roast lamb or sirloin sauce bordelaise (red wine sauce).
