Grape varieties: 2/3 Pinot Gris, 1/3 Gewurztraminer
Oranges made from Wrattonbully and Mount Benson biodynamic / organic Pinot Gris and Gewurz (purchased grapes). Pinot Gris 10 days, Gewurz 5 days skin contact and natural fermentation, pressed and aged in old French oak barrels for about 6 months, blended and bottled with a small amount of antioxidants. Unfiltered, no clarifiers used.
A vermillion-orange liquid with a strong minerality of lime and a modest but gorgeous aroma coexist.
When poured into a glass, it is an orange liquid with a vermilion tinge that seems to be mainly Pinot Gris, but you can also feel the gorgeousness of Gewurz, which has a strong presence, in the scent. It is characterized by a mineral feeling, and the energy of the liquid seems to remain on the tongue even after swallowing.
