Grape variety: Cabernet Franc
I named it Beau Gosse as a tribute to my late South African friend, and drew a South African lion's head on the label. 90% destemmed Cabernet Franc purchased from Montlouis producers, pressed, fermented in glass fiber tanks and aged in 226L old barrels. Bright purple garnet color, aromas of black cherries and violets, and a gentle mouthfeel with well- balanced tannins and acidity.
