Italy Piedmont
Grape variety: Nebbiolo, Barbera, Dolcetto, Freisa, Alvarossa, Pinot Noir
Casual wine made using young trees from each field. A precious wine in Piedmont that has a short aftertaste but is easy to match with any dish.
GD Vaira is a representative maker of Barolo Village, where many brewers learned and became independent. Mr. Aldo, the head of the family, is a brewer and personality who is loved by many brewers as a teacher. Giuseppe of the son participates in brewing now, too.
Lange Rosso is made using young trees from each vineyard. Blended with Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto, along with small amounts of Freisa, Alvarossa and Pinot Noir. As Isidro, who is in charge of cultivating, describes it as "a soccer team with Nebbiolo as the captain", the individuality of each variety is well harmonized. The sweetness of black fruits brings refinement and elegance, creating a rich flavor. It's a casual wine that is easy to match with any dish!
